How a surround gets refinished

Tile walls are sprayed, not painted — tile and grout are repaired, etched, and coated together into one continuous glossy surface. Every surround job runs through the same three stages:

A tub alcove fully masked — window papered, tub tented, fixtures wrapped — Sealed off. The tub tented, the window papered, every fixture wrapped — nothing in the room sees overspray.

The tile walls freshly sprayed white while the tub is still masked — Sprayed. Tile and grout coated in even passes while the masking holds the line — the tub stays tented until the walls are done.
