Everything we refinish, in one place.

The full menu — residential and commercial — and an honest look at how the work gets done.

How the work gets done

Every job runs on the same discipline — repair and prep what needs it, protect everything that stays, and spray it right.

We prep and repair first. Any chips or damage get fixed before we spray, and we check whether the old coating needs stripping — some surfaces need it, most don't. We never spray over a damaged or deteriorating surface.

Everything else is protected. Paper, plastic, and tape seal off the room before any spraying starts — nothing around the work area is exposed to overspray.

Then the wrap comes off. Once the finish has set, the masking peels away and the room goes back exactly as we found it — just with a refinished, like-new surface.

Commercial refinishing

The same work at property scale — unit turnovers, guest-room refreshes, and make-readies for hotels, property managers, contractors, and associations.

Common questions, straight answers

How long does refinishing take?

Most jobs are done in about a day — a standard bathtub is typically a single visit. Bigger jobs, like a tub plus its tile surround, can take a little longer, and we'll tell you exactly what to expect before we start.

When can I use my tub again?

The new finish needs 24 hours to cure before it touches water. Finished today, bathing tomorrow.

How long will the new finish last?

With normal care, a professionally refinished surface lasts for years — and every finish we spray is backed by our 10-year warranty against peeling and bubbling.

Why aren't you always the cheapest quote?

Mostly the materials. We spray a professional-grade resin-and-catalyst coating — the same chemistry used in the aircraft and marine industries — sourced from a specialty coatings supplier rather than a retail shelf. It costs more per job, and it's a large part of why our finishes keep their gloss year after year.

How do I take care of the new finish?

Treat it like a brand-new fixture: allow the full 24-hour cure before first use, then clean with non-abrasive liquid cleaners — no scouring powders or harsh pads. Beyond that, no special upkeep is required.

Is refinishing really cheaper than replacing?

Significantly. Replacing a bathtub means demolition, plumbing, new tile, and days of mess before you ever see the new tub. Refinishing restores the surface you already have — in place, in about a day, for a fraction of the cost.

What's the work like on the day?

We mask off and protect everything around the work area, clean and repair the surface, then spray the new finish and ventilate while we work. There's some odor during spraying; it fades as the coating cures.

Do you work with hotels, apartments, or property managers?

Yes — property managers and contractors are some of our longest-running repeat customers, and refinishing runs unit by unit, so it scales to turnovers and make-readies. Commercial work is invoiced, and a W-9 is available on request.

Are you a licensed business?

Yes — Tub Done has been refinishing surfaces across South Florida since 2013 and operates as a registered, active Florida corporation. Refinishing has no state trade-license category in Florida, so the business registration is the license for this work. A W-9 is available on request, and every finish carries our 10-year warranty.
